Excellence Aviation Services Ltd. was established in June 2000, when Colin Solley, who was determined to start his own business, left his previous post after 10 years working as a Director of Maintenance for a private flight department.
Colin’s decision to work independently was driven by a recognition of the lack of passion and care observed at most maintenance facilities.
An additional contributing factor for the creation of Excellence Aviation Services Ltd. was the noticeable need for out of hours support, quality service and quick response times, not commonly found with other maintenance facilities.
Here at Excellence Aviation Services Ltd. we provide our customers with a personal service, which includes a point of contact available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We abolish the usual practice of having just one Director of Maintenance, and instead you receive the same service, but at a higher quality, from our passionate and dedicated team with a broader skill set and capability.
Excellence Aviation Services Ltd. has now evolved into a strong team of 10 committed individuals. Mike Smith, bringing along specialist and up to date Avionic expertise. Colin Solley, providing Airframe and Engine skills, along with many completion and appraisal oversights, and entry into service support.

Recently Excellence Aviation Services Ltd has been acquired by the Inflite Group of companies and is now in process of expanding our capabilities by adding base maintenance on both Challengers and Global Express. With the added facilities available at Inflite the Jet Centre, Excellence Aviation Services can support customers base maintenance needs as well as AOG, defects.
